Avant B6er for B5er help

anyone of you done the swap of the window trim from rubber to aluminum/chrome? or blk roof rails on avant to aluminum roof rails. any info appreciated..thanks

roofrails i've heard done before,

dont know anyone that's done the trim. either it was a real PITA, or real expensive. something like that.

I heard it's not possible. There are weld spots or rivets.
