Avant owners, does the rear roof spoiler stop the hatch from getting so dirty?

Hmmm...that's the first I ever heard of a spoiler keeping a car cleaner.
If I hear of any news on this I'll let you know......
I've just purchased a 2000 A4 1.8T Avant at 'Clair', and have been trying to see
what this roof spoiler looks like. Do you know of any web-sites that show the roof
spoiler mounted? Thanks! Al

My thinking is that the aerodynamics of the Avant causes the air passing around the car to hug the rear. Same reason as they advise closing the rear window on SUVs when moving because the exhaust fumes are drawn into the car by the vacuum created on the rear of the vehicle. I'm hoping the spoiler can change the aerodynamics enough to stop some of the dirt/rain water from being drawn against the back of the car. You'll see soon enough, but the back of the Avant gets incredibly dirty on rainy days. Heck (public forum) I took a victory lap around my neighborhood after a car wash last weekend and got back into the garage with grass clippings stuck to the back. I never got over 25 mph and it was a nice sunny day.
Not really a huge issue, I love my Avant and just want to get the most enjoyment out of it.
