Is the AWE center vent guage kit really worth the cash??? Assuming you dont want to fab one yourself

hey zach, does the turbo timer have any negative effects?
like climate control issues, or alarm stuff? how much did you pay for it?
i saw a pretty clean looking install on a 99.0 dash a little bit ago, bit it would replace my passenger seat heater ****. i'm thinking i might do a TT install this summer though.

not really
When installed properly (per the instructions in the tech section) it will work fine with the alarm. Only negative effect on climate control is that to power the timer when the key is removed and still allow the alarm to work, you have to disconnect the afterrun fan for the A/C, so when the timer is counting down, the ECU will keep trying to run the A/C fan, you'll hear a little clicking. But this is completely harmless.
