Default AWESOME drive today folks...

Not too many pics this time...was too busy driving hard. Was saying the nice thing about Audiworld is that folks who move on to different cars come back and hang out together...this was an "audi" drive!

I controlled myself pretty well most of the day...uh except that bit where I went 165 but OTHER than...oh and then BlownS4 and I and a guy with a modded GTi went home the same way and shoulda been arrested...Walter and I should just NEVER drive on the same road at the same time ;-P

Drive didn't quite work out as planned due to fires up at Angeles crest but we had PLENTY of fun.

Lots of cars:

The TT guys and the other 996 guy and I started several minutes behind the group and caught up in the twisties and after a stop, we decided it was more fun to lead the group hehehehe. Who is that trying to steal my car??

Again, look at the variety of cars (this is only about 1/2 of them)

Absolutely positively the NICEST outhouse in the west:

Awesome machines all around...cheers to the guys fighting the fires!

I want to say a huge thanks to the folks who organized this...I'm VERY glad I got new front tires...I think they're uh...broken in now :-)

Default 996...

The road had some elevation and I backed off at that point because it was too fast for the road.

Default are you trying to say that our B5's are no match for your american race car hero 996's in the

twisties?

The 996 is one of the most beautiful cars...lucky bastard!

I saw either a TT or GT2 today (fixed wing, but moving at speed in other direction so I couldn't tell which it was) It looked like a volcano (ash) black kind of color...never seen that before but it was beautiful.
