...here's the scoop...
...If you have OEM Xenons, there is a definite increase in lighting performance as the OEM housings restrict the amount of light put on the road. I'm not too sure if the same can be said about the OEM projector housings.
Anyways, if you want to get Euro-housings, going from OEM Xenon housings to Euros is more expensive than from OEM halogen to Euro projectors. 500 for the Xenon housings and 300 for the projector housings.
However, if you purchased aftermarket Xenons, the Euro projector housings will work as it is designed to accept H7 type adapter plates. That's what aftermarket Xenons have.
Other than lighting performace, there are also the appeal the Euros have such as clear corners w/out amber slits, fully encased turnsignal bulbs, and, my favorite, city lights.
It's all a matter of personal preference.

...when compared to people going from aftermarket Xenon with OEM projector housings.
People with OEM Xenons, like you and me, HAVE to purchase the Euro-spec S4 Xenon housings to work with the OEM Xenon housings (~$500). There have been some talk about purchasing the less expensive Euro-projector housings (~$300) and modifying the bulb adaptor plate so that it can accept the OEM Xenon bulb. Not worth it me cuz I do not wanna mess with the Xenon bulbs, pay for Euro-projector housings only to find out that it won't work, sell it for less than what I paid, then getting the proper S4 housings. Not to mention the waiting period. Hope that helps.
