B5 A4 reliability
I've posted a couple times about the reliability research I'm conducting. The support of this forum and its admin have been very helpful.
I've started reporting results for the 2002 A4. I'd like to also have results for some years of the B5, but there aren't enough responses.
So more participants would clearly be helpful.
Participants report repairs the month after they occur. When there are no repairs, they simply report an approximate odometer reading four times a year, at the end of each quarter.
To encourage participation, panel members receive full access to the results free of charge.

He is providing an alternative to JD Power for everyone
Michael is basically attempting to provide an alternative to the JD Powers jacked up way of ranking dependability. Basically they weigh everything equally such as a loose glove box door and a transmission falling out. So the statistics leave a lot to be desired.
Some of the factors they count really aren't reliability either, such as the position of cup holders in the cars are ranked.
This is just an attempt to gain appropriate data to quantify. He has all of my cars in his database and I receive no junk mail.
