My 99.5 went in to the stealership to have the airbag light diagnosed.
Apparently it needs a new driver side side-airbag and a passenger side side-airbag. The estimate came in at $1400!
In addition, I need a new central locking pump, and new tires!
What a bad day... Any suggestions on getting this airbag situation resolved without spending so much money? I've also heard the airbags will not deploy if I'm in an accident since the light is illuminated - is that accurate?
Thanks!

I would be really surprised if you need one new airbag, much less two. Chances are you have a bad relay, there are a few that could be the culprit. At least get it checked out by a differenet dealer or good Euro indy mechanic.
