a quick question,
i'm going to remmove my BOV and install BPV..
primary reason i installed BOV was for sound but the car's running rich and started showing fault code.
i always thought BPV doesn't make any noise like the BOV but after searching through the discussion, i noticed some says BPV does make some noise..
can anyone specifiy, IF THERE ARE ANY, what kinda noise bailey's BOV make between shifts?

a metal body BPV will make a BOV sound, not as loud as a BOV, but heads do turn at the sound.
However, you NEED a CAI to hear the BPV. A TT valve and any other plastic valve will make a light "zuck". My Bailey makes a juicy "psshf" on light shifts under boost, a "zuck" on medium boost shifts, and a shriek on WOT shifts.
So stick with a metal (Forge, Bailey, Hyperboost, Greddy Type S) and get a CAI (Evo, PES, LLtek) and enjoy.
