Baileys or Forge BPV: Can someone give me the pros and cons for each?

but the Forge is serviceable. Also, it seems like the Bailey's are always on back order. I have no experience with either. I'm not having any problems with my stock valve. But a friend of mine has a Bailey and is happy with it.

yeah my stock valve just acted up...
Asking people I know baileys is the choice, but forge is a bit cheaper and is servicable (not sure if that is good or bad =/)

Except the forge can be taken apart so you can service or change to stiffer/weaker springs if you want.
I like the look of the Forge over the Bailey, and I also like the fact I can clean it, just in case. Theoretically, both shouldn't need to be serviced over their lifetime, but in case something does happen, I'd like to be able to open and clean it, rather then have to send it back and wait for it to be replaced.

even though we do not advertise it that way.
We believe that the serviceable feature is a dubious one, as it superfluous.
This is an item that does not *need* service.
Bailey made it "serviceable" only because they wanted to keep the same look amongst all their valves, and the DV26 blow off valve needs to come apart in order to change spring sets for different applications.
A bypass valve like the DV30 model has no need for differing spring tensions.
