battery draining
2 weeks ago, the audi would not start. after a jump we got it running. yesterday it happened again. No lights are left on and the voltmeter registers a strong alternator, so i do not know what might be draining the battery.
Any ideas?

Bad battery?
If the battery is old, it won't hold a charge. Maybe the battery needs to be replaced? How old is the battery in the car? I have seem some here posting that they are changing their batteries every 2.5 years or so...seems to be much more frequent than other cars on the road.

Refill reservoirs (more)
Yeah,
I had the exact same problem a about a 1/2 a year ago. I just refilled the battery w/ distilled water. Unscrew the + Plugs on the top of the battery and pour some clean, distilled water in there. I poured too much, and the battery had an overflow tube that drained the excess.
You might be able to buy an electrolyte solution to add to the battery. I didn't do that, but my car is fine now.
