Default Bay Ridge Audi price for parts seems high..can anyone confirm?

Hello
I took my car in because the "check engine" light was on. I was told there would be a 1.5 hour labor charge for running diagnostics. Later that day I was given these prices for parts and labor.

oxygen sensor-$400 (seems high)
air meter-$350
rear brakes-$240
Labor-$400

I looked for Audi parts to compare online and I found a Bosch sensor for $135, I know an OEM part will cost more but this just seems really expensive. BTW, I'm out of warranty, should I stop taking my car to Audi and find a good mechanic instead?

Thanks

Default thats really high, their parts department likes your money more than your repeat business.

air mass meter should be under $100 for a reman
oxygen sensors are usually 185-220
rear pads list for $50 ish
rear rotors about $70 ish

Default Any recommendations for future service other than dealer?

I don't think I'll be going back.

Default Check out your local forum. The NJ/NY/CT should have plenty of recommendations

since this is a rather Audi rich area. NYC, right? You won't always find cheap labor, but you can find top notch work and honest people.
