Re: Bazooka sub
I had the Bazooka installed in the trunk of my Mercedes. It sounded lousy, not so much because of any problem with the sub itself, but rather due to the heavy sound insulation present in the Mercedes trunk. I sent a lot of juice to the sub, but you could barely hear or feel it. I guess that's a kudo to Mercedes. Anyway, I think that your success or lack therof really depends on where you install it and whether or not you have much sound insulation.

Re: Bazooka sub
i have two 8" bazooka subs in my trunk. the subs were from my previous car and they are pretty easy to install, not to mention their portability. i like the sound even though i know if i go with a single 10 or a 12 in sealed box will probably get better bass.

I've an 8" self amp...
and have moved it from 2 previous cars into the Acura CL I'm trying to sell now because 1.8's in the mail. I think it's an excellent product because of its portability. I don't do anything to stock systems, just add self amplified bazooka and it's good to go. I agree with Brad though, I guess because of the sound insulation, bass is not as good in the CL as it was in my GS-R or an Altima SE I had.
