Default Bearing noise

I have a 98 1.8T FWD that during deceleration makes a rough bearing noise or rough rotor noise when I slow down through 20 mph. My local dealer, Vasek Polack, says that it is normal ans all cars with semi metalic pads make that noise. Has anyone else had this problem? Any advice on how to make an Audi dealer believe you truly are a car nut and know what you are talking about?
Yep, I noticed it as well (99). The dealer said it was normal. I have 14k on the car now and the noise seems to have faded somewhat (or it just doesn't bug me anymore).

Default this is what I did.....

I tried to let dealer know that my brakes were noisy and in need of attention. I know a thing or two about cars, and I told them we could do it the hard way or the easy way. They chose the hard..... so I stood on the brakes at 120mph two times and came to a stop... new rotors and pads. Problem solved. I know this sounds arrogant... I was getting pretty tired of my dealership not listening to me.
Conker 98 1.8TS-tip TAP .8

Oh, he already knows that but insists it is just dust buildup!

You can try asking Jeff, sometimes he's more reasonable
