Default Bel 975R- KenK, got my foglight button wires to strech over to the rt side, It was a POTA though.

And I don't know if I will ever be able to undo it since I can't get to the clips really. I used the magic coat hanger, now my 975 will be on the left.
My digicam is on backorder, so I will have to scan the install photos for doing the install FAQ. Any tips, or hard parts you can think of?

Default Sweet! But how the hell did you move your switches over? My wires were way too short...

...do you have ESP too? Maybe thats the wire that was hanging the whole bunch up. I looked to see if I could get some additional slack out of the bundle of wires, but I wasnt able to find any.

How did the antenna go? Sounds like you're in the home stretch!

If you start an install FAQ, I'd be happy to collaborate.

Default The brown truck is bringing my detectors today, got bored after 4 hours of Counter-Strike last night

No ESP, just a cupholder. I ran them under the hazard switch with a coat hanger and they just barely extend past the front of the metal frame of the console. I used a coat hanger shaped like a "J" to push on the back of the connector. It really sucked, but it works. I think my wife's A4 will have the detector on the right. How about the power supply, how did you wire it? Was it hard? I was thinking I may take a look to see if I can find 1/2 inch of slack in the wires in case I ever have to remove the foglight panel. I will scan the pics in this weekend after I get them developed.

Default Switched power was pretty easy - I just used an open section in my fuse block...

...I believe it's used for the wiper on Avants. It's switched with the key, so the detector springs to life whenever I start the car. You can get a fuse tap from PepBoys or just throw a flat blade connector on the end of your wire. I believe I wound up grounding it where the lower right knee bolster bracket attaches to the metal center console framework.

I might go back and take another look at the wiring for my switches - because moving them to the old cup holder spot would be perfect!
