These are my first shots with a digital camera...so theyre not exactly perfect. Anyhow, here's the control panel inside:

The antenna (yes I'm going to eventually paint/powdercoat the bracket):

and finally a shot of where it resides behind the rings:

...of the drivers side ring - but you can have them mounted behind solid plastic too and they will work just fine. (Thats how my last car was)

...the UUC will eliminate the slop inherent in the stock setup, and ever so slightly reduce your throws. The Neuspeed reduces the slop, height, and throws (more so).
You'll enjoy it unless you're looking for something aggressive.

Have always used the BEL remote? I used to have one and noticed it wasn't as "sensitive" as the one piece. How is it working as far as detection goes? I've been using BEL's for over 8 years now.

...my last car had the 615 remote in it (behind plastic) and it worked like a champ for 7+ years.
When I got my new A4, I took the easy route and got the Bel 980. I didnt want to start hacking up my brand new car, and the lack of space behind the grill made me think that a remote install might not be possible. I used the 980 for two months and couldnt stand it anymore (power cord, detector flopping around on the stupid suction cup thing, worrying about theft, having to take it town every time I used my sunshade, etc.) I sold it and got the 975R - I'm proud of my installation and wouldnt (couldnt) have it any other way!
