The little mini-server comes up just fine. Then it automatically pops open my web browser, and goes to the screen where it has 3 tabs along top which read "repair manual", "wiring diagrams", and "search". If I click on any of the "repair manual" choices, the screen refreshes, but just stays at that screen. Doesn't go anywhere.
If I go to wiring diagrams, and choose one, I get a "500 internal server error".
Hey, can you do me a favor? Can you tell me what the directory structure of you cd is? (Long story.)

I actually do *own* the darn thing. But I lost my disc, and a nice soul here on AW allowed me to ftp a copy. Only the setup.exe and the b5.zip from the root dir, though. Not sure what to do with that to make it work.
An ISO or full copy of the disc would be nifty, but I'm perfectly okay with this as long as I can get the darn thing to work. :/

Screw the whole "Bentley Publishing" directory they throw it in....it never worked for me that way...
Instead, take that 'b5' directory OUT of the above mentioned directory and put it on the root of the hard drive. Then go into the properties -> Shortcut of the Bentley Launcher Icon and change the Target to say (all in one line):
[Your Drive Letter]:\b5\jre\1.1.7b\Bin\Jrew.exe -classpath .;jars/rbi.jar;jars/jconfig.zip;jars/swing.jar;jars/jgl.jar;jars/perl.jar;jars/sax.jar;jars/xp.jar;jars/bf.jar;jre/1.1.7b/lib/rt.jar;jars/aserve.jar;jars/jsdk.jar Bentley
and make the "Start In" Directory to say
[Your Drive Letter]:\b5
of course, you know to put in whatever your hard drive letter is in the spaces mentioned.
works for me that way.
