Best Infinity Basslink install location for max bass
I was thinking more from the perspective of best bass delivery, not as much to do with physical location, as I'm pretty sure I'm going with an install on the floor, mounted on a board, to give me portability when I want to remove it easily, but I thought I'd get any advice.
Here are four locations I've found on AW! Should I have it shoot (1) sideways, (2) into the rear seat, (3) into the rear of the trunk, or (4) down (which isn't really portable).
Any comments?
Thanks, and happy holidays!

3. into the rear of the trunk. I tried all the different ways myself.
I have a Cerwin 12 pointed towards the rear, gets the best air movement that way..produces the best sound. The worst way would be towards the seat.

Curious, wouldn't 3 and 1 almost be the same?
Why's 3 better than 1? They're both shooting into the open trunk space.
PS Tight ride. I've got a 2000 Black 1.8TQMS myself.

Almost the same...
but in 3 the sound bounces off the rear of the trunk towards you in the car and some travels through the upper deck lid. In 1 the sound bounces off the side and back at the speaker. 3 is better.

no.1 is my picture...
I just had it in this location as it was easy to remove, I had the cables setup with quick disconnects, and the Basslink was mounted onto a board which had velcro under it. I could rotate the unit in any direction that I liked as I had plenty of cable...

Neat! Do you have a pic of your remote bass control?
Interestingly, the manual has your setup (sideways) shown, which most people have said is not the best position. I wonder...
What did you have connected via quick disconnects? Power and ground? The speaker wires that come with it look like they've already got them.
Where did u mount the control? I was thinking on the right side of the steering column, so I can easily adjust it with my right hand as I'm playing with the stereo.

Close enough...
Indeed it was the main cables that I had the quick disconnects on...The rest I could simply unplug from the unit...
I had mounted the remote unit just behind my VI remote unit, it was easy to access from here...
