Default Don't buy! Rent!

www.blauparts.com will rent the tools to you. They charge a ~$250 deposit which is returned to you 10 business days after they receive the tools back. The only catch is that you have to buy the timing belt kit from them.

I have had some really tricky customer support situations, including one where FedEx screwed up. Blaufergnugen (Blauparts) was able to make things right quickly- I highly recommend them.

Why would they charge a $250 deposit? The tools don't sell for more than $150 online.

Default I buy all my stuff from Baum Tools. You can find stuff marginally cheaper,

but I've always been happy with their quality.

Default I think that's their standard deposit for any tools rental.

They also send you more than needed for *just* the TB job- you get everything needed to replace the crank seal, and some other little things IIRC. Plus you get the $250 back.

One other possibility... I might have forgotten the exact amount... and there is a standard rental fee of $35.

I'm surprised no one has built a sliding bar that will work on both engines.
