best place to put the floor jack for the front end of the car?

It'll show you in there, but basically, there is a pinch weld under the area where the front door meets the front quarter panel. If you kneel down and look at the black lower moldings, you might see an arrow that points to the lift point (put the jack under the pinch weld, NOT on the molding...though that should be common sense!!).
If you're using the factory emergency jack, be very careful. They tip over quite easily. I would recommend going to sears or walmart and purchasing an inexpensive floor jack. Much more stable.
