I bought the Panasonic 8-disc changer for $180 plus $10 shipping, from www.soundhabit.com. It comes with the wrong adapter cable for an A4, but you can get the correct one from Blitzsafe.

either previous posts or the FAQ have said that some of the Concert unit's CD functions do not all work with aftermarket units.

The 6-CD changer sold by Clair (by Panasonic) is the OEM unit and is covered by the Audi warranty. No adapter is needed with this unit sold by Clair, but some hardware is required (separate kits for sedan and Avant). I don't have the P/N and price, but it is about $270, if I remember correctly.

Also with recent posts, one person installed the unit and couldn't get CDs past the first one to read, but he thinks it is because of a defective unit. I can't confirm this because mine is still on order.

The 8-changer CD has been posted before, so apparently all the functions (like RANDOM) work, but you'd have to ask.
