Default best summer oil?

changing my oil soon- just wondering what the best oil would be for the hot temps in the summer-?

currently running Mobil 1 0W40

Default 20w-50 full synthetic

floor it...you'll notice the retention of power at the upper rpm range. Actually, around here in California....it's a year-round oil

I'd give Mobil 1 10w-40 Hi-Miles the nod. The M1 5w-40 TDT would also be decent.

Never heard a claim of 50 weight increasing power. Got any dyno logs?Typically, less power & mpg
