Will it be more dependable, since it's not as harsh of an upgrade? CARB legal, means dealer legal, at least out in Cali.

I know the GIAC and the Wetteraurer I had were for off-road use only.
In practice, does it really matter? I haven't heard of any issues with chipped cars in Cali.

That's true. But I'm just trying to make some pretty low-key upgrades. What do you suggest? I know Neuspeed will only give me around 30 HP, but I'm not much of a wrench with Audis quite yet. And I also don't know how much money I want to invest. The whole core thing is something that I worry about also. Man, I don't know...maybe you can point me in the right direction.
