Re: Bicycle in trunk?
Yes, no problem. I have a couple of 60 cm road bikes, with a lot of seatpost extension. Pull the front wheel, turn the handlebar against the frame, and slide it in. Then just toss the front wheel into the trunk on top of the rear wheel.
I have a 57cm and one of the reasons I bought my 1.8TQM was the fold down back seats. The bike fits easily with the front wheel off. I protect against grease with a McNeil trunk liner and old towels. The liner is great for fishing and camping gear.
John B

Re: Bicycle in trunk?
I tried putting my Serotta road bike in, and it fit barely. I wouldn't do it except on a rare occasion. Forget about a mountain bike especially
after a ride. The problems are the dirt, grease,
and sharp edges. I bought a Ford Ranger and had the bed Rhino lined just for biking and household
hauling.
Don S
97 QMS
