I have a 2000 A4 1.8t quattro and want to lower (1-1.7 inches) it with a suspension that doesn't ruin the ride. I know any amount of lowering is gonna change the ride a little, but what is the best route to go? H&R cup kit? Bilstein Coilover? Adjustable ride height? Combination of springs and shocks? I don't have to go the cheapest route, just the one which gives a comfortable ride.

Love the ride and the height. Spent $501.80 on the shocks shipped to my door and found the springs in the classifieds for $130. Look around for the springs or grab some from purems.com or ecstuning.com I think they have some good sales on springs now. The height difference is huge.

What is the best lowering springs to use with the Bilstein shocks to acheive a 25 1/4 - 25 1/2 look?
