bilstein sport struts + stock springs question

I recently installed bilsteins with what i thought were stock sport springs, but i just found out they are actually comfort springs. When i got it aligned, the camber and toe were off. Could that have been b/c the struts are for sport/lowered springs? Also, i am searching for sport springs or maybe new if i can't find used. Will my alignment be off again when i put the sport springs in?

though some don't lower much below sport.
To do what you want, you may need to spend some $$ for coilovers.
FWIW, I run Koni shocks with stock springs and haven't had a problem, but there aren't 10K miles on them yet so perhaps it's a bit early to tell.
If they were able to get all the specs properly aligned, why is it an issue unless you're going for the lowered look?

If so, pick up some vogtland springs and go up a couple notches on the shocks. I've heard vogtlands w/bilsteins on the top groove will put you at about stock sport height, though I don't know that from personal experience. I'm using stock sport springs w/grooved bilsteins on the lowest perch, that dropped me to a two-finger gap all around.
