Bilsteins dead after >200K...

...worth $260 to get them rebuilt or do I get a new set for $480?

arent they lifetime warranty? Just get them to replace them

Neither -- get Bilstein to replace them.

I got my Bilsteins replaced after only 60k miles. The rears were definitely shot. The fronts had firmed up to the point where they were no longer comfortable, and Bilstein replaced them anyway.

I had to lay out the $$ to buy them from Bilstein, and it took them several months to refund my credit card. But by that time it was like found money. :-)
