That's not so unusual. GM has plastic intake runners on its 2.4 16v 4 cylinders. Plastic engine parts are pretty common in general. Cam covers and intake manifolds are two main ones. I recall a company in Germany was working on ceramic pistons at one point. I think non-metal engine parts are gonna revolutionise the engine business in the near future.

I'ma bit pissed that I'm home. Spent some time in Montauk and South Hampton. I want to move to South Hampton as soon as I get rich
Beautiful, perfect, TONS of FINE women, everything moved at my speed, etc etc. Now all I need a is a cool 5 million to afford a house there and living for a few years.
