To my horror, my awsome new leather jacket is wearing off onto my light colored leatherette. I'm really at a loss on what to do, I'm not willing to stop wearing the jacket, but I also don't want it to keep wearing off onto my seat. Any suggestions on how to clean the seat as it is now, and then keep it clean in the future? What is a good product to use that won't harm the leatherette?

I have no affiliation, etc., but this is by far the best stuff for leather I've seen: it also works fine on leatherette.

My black leather jacket never marked up my gray cloth seats too badly, but they did mark up a bunch of my khaki slacks. I had the jacket cleaned, and it's fine now.
The only thing is that leather cleaning/conditioning is EXPENSIVE. But worth it.
