blow off/diverter valves?

Can anyone share their experience or opinion on installing a diverter or blow off valve,
any downsides or noticable changes?

Okay, let's come up with some sort of system...

Every 8 hours, we have designated people who post a new thread "We don't like BOV's, here's why..." OR, we build up enough money to get one of those sponsor windows and have an image there of a car hitting a tree reading "Friends don't let friends use Blow Off Valves." Can't come up with a nifty name for the program yet. Any ideas? I can't get past AABOV's (Audi's Against Blow Off Valves)
