Tha absolute best thing you could possibly do at this point...
Is to read through the AudiWorld B5 FAQ. Click on the supplied link and look for the questions that you have had. They have been asked a zillion times over the past 6 years.
Before you ever have a question in mind that you want to post, clik the Search button at the upper right hand corner of your screen to search the Archives for "KEYWORDS" about what you are wondering about.
The easiest thing to do here is to get on the bad side of the veterans. Luckilly they seem to have decided to take it easy and adopt you for the time being. Dont dissapoint.
Do your research before you do any mods, and check what has been done before. Many many many noobs have come before your time. Dont make the same mistakes they did. Listen to your elders and they will take your far!
Good luck though, happy modding.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/2299748.phtml">B5 FAQ</a></li></ul>

And to add more advice. . .
If you want help here, it's useful to state, as a minimum, the year of the vehicle, the engine size, the type of transmission, whether it's a quattro, and whether it has the sport suspension. We shouldn't have to dig through your other posts to find out that you're considering buying a '97 1.8T, FWD or quattro unspecified.
For example, the boost system is different enough between a 2001 and a 1997 that the modding advice is not at all the same.
Now, here's my personal take on modding an A4. It's a luxury car. You only have to look at the interior to tell that. So if you just want a platform to mod to see how much you can get out of it, it's an expensive way to go. And once it's modded, you can pretty much depend on that fact that you won't recover much of the costs of your mods when you sell it.
All you've shown an interest in is getting the most boost out of an A4. If you're looking for a car to drag, an A4 is never really going to be a contender shy of the $15K someone mentioned. What the A4 offers you (in the quattro version) is a car that will handle in the top 10% of cars on the road, especially with suspension mods. It makes a very nice to take to the track, and I'm not talking about some NASCAR oval.
So if you want a luxury car that looks great inside and out, performs at very high levels on the road or at the track, and is a car you can be proud to own, an A4 is for you. Whatever your age, this is an adult car, which is why we object to the wings, the altezzas, and the fart can exhausts.
If you want a cheap project to prove you can out-think the manufacturer's engineers, kick someone's butt at a stop light, or look as outrageous as possible, the A4 isn't going to do that, at least not within a reasonable budget.
