Default Boost problems w/ GIAC Chip

Im having problems w/ my GIAC chip, i just got the chip and I dont have consistent boost, fore say I start off from a stop, and shift consistently from 1-2-3... it'll have the power I was lookin for from the chip but when i downshift from 3rd to 2nd , i see no chip power when its on 2nd, it feels stock, but if i press the throttle for 1 sec and press it again it'll have the chip power...is there something wrong with the chip? or is it the car?

Default When was the last time you serviced the Bailey's? Sounds a bit like it is sticking open.

Unless the downshift into 2nd is at sufficiently low RPMs it is possible you are just at too high a rev when you re-accelerate for boost to build.

Default In which direction and are you certain the small vac line from the manifold down to the BPV is still

connected properly and hasn't gotten into the either fan?

Default How long has the chip been in?

It took my ecu a little bit of time to adapt to the GIAC chip. Somewhere around a week IIRC

If there is nothing obviously wrong, wait a bit to see if it fixes itself
