BOSE speaker question...
I know this has been brought up many times before, but I am very confused.
I have a 1996 with the factory BOSE system. I want to upgrade the speakers and head unit, but I have been told that the BOSE system cannot be upgraded. Is this true? Is there no way for me to purchase better speakers or a sub or something of that sort for my car?
Hope someone can help me out.

try this...youll have to call though to make sure for the 96 system...I know they have the adapter
to keep the headunit stock and run an external amp (for a 00)...also you can change the rears with soundtsream (i think)- cant remeber who on the forum did this before but you can just swap the speakers and add an amp if you want- just make sure you get the proper ohm speakers
