BOV vented back into the turbo inlet or BPV, is there a difference?

I already realize that it doesn't make sense cost-wise but other than that is there really a difference?
Sorry to bring it up...looking for knowledgeable answers.. and yes, I have been searching past posts.

they're the exact same thing as a bpv just vented to the atmosphere. most BPV's are not adjustable (tension), while most bov's allow u to adjust the tension so the engine will not die on you, and also for high boost applications.
so if you vent to the atmosphere u pretty much have a BOV, if you vent into the intake u get ur BPV.
i don't see a big deal...it's your car do what u like. the audi is actually my first turbo car that i havn't ran a BOV on yet...
