Default Boxster caliper brake line question: Is there anyway to use stainless steel...

lines I already bought from ECS for the OEM calipers with the Boxster caliper?

Can I use an adaptor of some sort?

Thanks.

Default probably... you should find out the specs of the OEM caliper and the porsche caliper

and the oem lines.

You will likely be able to find an adapter of sorts.... however it would be wise to use lines intended for your application since the stock lines are meant to stick out farther in the back of the caliper, the boxster calipers are not as thick on the inside of the rotor.

Default call up EVO motorsports, they arent on their site, but i remember reading....

you can get the right lines from them, as they sell the same upgrade in kit form.
might be a little on the expensive side though?
maybe see if goodridge or whoever makes most of the upgraded stainless lines makes a set for a 1977 911?

Default might be able to have an adpater made

at a local radiator/hydraulic shop. I've had all sorts of wacky adapters made from time to time. Hell, they just made me some custom coolant supply lines for my turbo because I didn't have another banjo laying around. Defiantly worth a shot.

But will the lines be long enough? Justin517 says no.

Default i dunno, with brakes id like to have as few seams or connections as possible...

unless this would just be one adapter

I agree, I was thinking more along the lines of one adapter
