Default ok, everyone do some math for me.....

Add up all the money you've spend on cosmetics (body kits, headlights, Audio equipment, 19' and 18' rims when the 17's would have worked just fine) and then think about how much faster you car could be, or how much better it could handle, with that money. Then after you've done that, tell me you're glad that you wasted your money and I'll call you a rice boy.

ALL GO NO SHOW

Default owning a car isn't always about racing every single car on the street and winning

if you're proud of a classy car like the audi, you shouldn't be ashamed to show it off a bit and garner some attention. i mean, you take good care of your car and it's not wrong for other people to notice that. it's not about owning every ricer in town. anyhow, nowadays cars are equipped with so much power in stock form that it's tough to compete unless you're running big turbo or something. that being said, it'd be just as easy if you were big turbo to have someone come along and own you. i'd rather be proud of my car and take care of it by driving reasonable than drop the clutch at 4k rpm at every stoplight. not to mention the fact that i have more fun on the twisties than going in a straight line... who needs horsepower out the wazoo when you have quattro? that's an enjoyable audi experience to me.

Default all personal perference I guess

And please don't think that I abuse my car, I take very good car of it. I also know it's not the fastest car ever, but I can spend money where I think it counts, the fun to drive category

Default nope.

the only real cosmetic iteam i have purchased are my wheels, due to the fact that i dunno if im gonna keep this car(its a 99, might get a 99.5+ of s4 in the future) and the last time i checked wheels where alot easier to take off than a big turbo set up.

Default i don't think your car can ever be boring to drive if you have quattro

like i said before, it's not always about going in a straight line or how many people you can own off the line. also, mods like HID upgrades aren't just for looks... better lighting can saves lives, particularly your own. i see nothing at all wrong with that.
