Brake Light warning light comes on after pressing on brakes
Question: My brake light warning light came on because my brake light went out. After I changed the bulb it went away EXCEPT now everytime i press on the brakes the BRAKE LIGHT and the (Bulb with and X going through it) comes on signaling that the brake light is out again when its not.
Checked the bulb, checked the fuses, I'm thinking its a wiring connection problem but not sure where to look. Is there a way to turn off the sensor on the brake light itself? Has anyone had this problemo before?
Any info is appreciated.

Oh and so its not confused with the brake pad wearing, th light comes off when I press on the gas, but goes on when I fully stop. The warning light says "brake light" so that wouldnt come on if it were a brake pad problem.

Check the new bulb,make sure you have the correct one, not all manufacturers bulbs bulbs will work. This has been reported before.
