While driving yesterday, my brake pedal went all the way to the floorboard, and i lost a lot of braking power. The brakes then came back to 100% power, but now my right front brakes are making a low sounding scraping noise when applied. this is not a squeel as if the pads were worn.
The car has 43k miles, and was bought certified only 2 months ago.

Sounds like a pad shed it's lining, and is now on the backing plate. Get it fixed ASAP!

yeah that happened to me...change your pads now...don't drive with it like that.

"squeel as if the pads were worn" - you will find your brakes will squeel when they're not worn, too. While this isn't directly relevant, if you notice squeel in the future is has nothing to do with wear, just that Audi brakes are particularly prone to squeeking.
