I am getting ready to change my brake pads from the original ones, and wanted to know what you recommend. I do not race or track the car, and i like the way to original brake pads feel just that i don't like all of the brake dust. Help me out.

Affordable, good quality, and low dust. EBC green stuff is similar, but slightly higher cost. BUT, if you were a more aggressive driver, i highly recommend Hawk HPS pads- just got them, and LOVE them. Very low dust, but moderately aggressive compound, and slightly more expensive.

feel of the stock pads. The Mintex are not really grabby when you first touch the pedal...their braking force builds much more progressively. The stock pads are really grabby at first, even if you just press on the pedal very lightly. I didn't like that, but, if you do, be aware that the Mintex will give a different feel.

Not one sqeal or squeak, ever. I could NOT be happier w/ my setup. BUT jeff says i could use a little more modulation... i'll worry about that when i'm as good a driver as he... ;-P

aggressive street compound. Takes a little more heat to get initial bite, so you have to hit the brakes just a bit,(and I mean a bit) harder doing 20 or 25mph.
On the highway, though, Damn. They bite really nice and are pretty dust free.
I like them much, much better than the mintex redbox they replaced.
