Brake pad suggestions. more than an autocross, not quite a track day
I currently run mintex red box pads.
I have an event coming up, that isn't quite a full on track day. Basicly, one car at a time, one lap on a small road course. Braking is important, but its not a full on lapping session.
We get one lap(.75 mile) to warm up, then a full lap under green.
Stock rotors/calipers.
I won't be using these daily. Just the weekends of the events. I don't mind eating up the rotors(at the event).
I have searched a bit, but haven't found anything relative to an event like this.
mintex red box have done ok at this event in the past, but I think I can get away with a more aggressive pad. I just don't want to buy something that I can't get warmed up enough to be effective.

Ferodo DS2500
Easy on the rotors, hold up well to the heat. I've used them on 6 track days and with good fluid and SS lines, the car has done great!
I got mine from http://www.raceshopper.com

For those conditions, I think you'll be fine with a more aggressive street pad.
In other words, I don't see a good reason to swap pads on the weekends. Just get a better pad, install them, and forget about them.

Another great option. I've gone through three sets of Pagids, and the DS2500 will be my next pad.
I'm hoping for a little bit more heat tolerance with the Ferrodos than I get with Pagids, at the expense of a little more noise probably.

I went with the Ferodo D2500 from Jprices link....
bottom line, they were cheaper than the pagids....and I think any of the choices with be better than the mintex I currently run.
The place is out of New york...and I'm in Vermont...so they should arrive in plenty of time so can change them before the event.
The audi isn't my usual track car, but has been seeing a lot of duty lately as the funding to fix my track car is not existant(61 mini...dropped a valve...grr).
Haven't been able to break the minute mark at this track with the audi, although close(1:00.18).
Tires will be different too, due to track restrictions relative to the club. I'll be using azenis for the first time (rt215), prior best time was with some spent yoko a032r's in the 15 inch variety.
Best time with some 400 treadwear bridgestones was in the 1:01 time frame.
Thank you all for your suggestions.
