I run Mintex Red Box Pads on the street and just wanted someone's opinion on whether or not I should upgrade both front and rear pads, or if just doing the front is enough. Will a different co-efficient of friction between the front and rear have an adverse effect on overall braking?
I'm thinking of getting Hawk HP Plus pads for the track.

don't run them on the street though...
some track pads only work well when warmed up, when cold a 18 wheeler will stop faster then you.
if you go to the track alot, they're a good investment. mintex is just a oem replacement at best.

mintex work, but you'll go thru a set in one day.
Even with my 4 piston calipers, I went through a set of mintex in 3 days.

Liam
