I have a 1997 A4 2.8l Quattro with a manual transmission. The problem I am having is when I press my foot on the brake and the car is about to come to a complete stop, before the car stops, the brake pedal jerks and there is spring bouncing type of noise coming from the brake pedal. I can feel in the brake pedal, it jerks a little and there is a spring bouncing type of noise while the pedal jerks. I just changed the passenger side rear wheel bearing and after I changed it I started to hear the noise. I checked the rear wheel area and everything looked fine. Any body have any ideas?
