Did a search but didn't find much...I'm getting a pretty loud squeak from the brakes under moderate braking...but mostly when I get down to maybe 10-15 mph...it only starts then. Any ideas? I'm hoping I don't have to take it into the dealership cuz I just got it back from the bodyshop!

Hose your wheels down and take it for a spin. Could just be brake dust.

Started a while back, dealer said everything looks fine and perhaps is brake dust. I insisted that I hose the wheels down fairly regularly, to which he claims then maybe is just the semi-metalic pads causing some squeaks and that there is no safety concern to worry about...

Didn't sound too convincing, but I did read in couple places that brake squeaks can sometimes occur under normal braking as well without a degrade in braking power.

Anyone got more info, please join in...
