Brake upgrade in the $500 range...
Time to upgrade the brakes...ann I'm on about a $500 budget. I'm aware of the A8 rotor/TT caliper bracket upgrade (right at $500)...are there any others that I should consider in that price range? If not, I guess the A8 upgrade is what it will be. I see the track (ie...Auto-X) about 3-4 times a year...so I don't think I need an all-out upgrade (nor can I afford it). By the way, has anyone found the caliper brackets for LESS than ~$115 EACH?? Thanks in advance..

If you're only planning on doing AutoX, then pads and rotors will do.
You won't go that fast in an AutoX where big brakes will be needed. I doubt they'll give you any significant improvements if any.
