Brake upgrade in the works a8 rotors with porsche calipers... need a little help
Ive got a set of porsche 944 turbo calipers sitting around and was thinking about using them on my a4.
I was wondering what the max rotor width was supposed to be for these (think it was 30mm but not sure).
if this is right, then would it be possible for me to use the 323mm by 30mm large a8 brake rotors, instead of just using the smaller 312x25 with the stock calipers. Or is the hub centering different on the larger rotor than on the smaller one. Also is lug spacing an issue or is it the same for the older and newer a8's?
if this project gets done, there will be quite an interesting
new "cheap" upgrade for our brakes
