Default yes and no. I can easily brake much later everywhere on the street and track.

But, the main objective is to reduce brake fade, and my StopTechs do that to a higher degree than increase stopping distances.

Also using the right pad according to the conditions helps as well.

the 9012s? or the sport blues? the latter is not a track pad, especially for tracks like the Glen

Default They are...

T1035 for the front and T5056 for the rears... they are the sport BLUE pads, and are good for street use and light track use (direct quote from Andreas at PAGID). Basically, for my level, a actual step UP from what I currently am running, and pretty much toe to toe or better than the Hawk HP+ which are only street and autox pads. This way I can get a pad that I don't need to continually swap around for street and track use, and is pretty much even with my experience level.

From what I've found in my research the Blues will hold up for what I need at the glen... hell, my dad used that car with the OEM pads and never had a single problem with fade at all for 3 years... so I think I'll be alright. Thanks for the heads up though!

oops, the 9012 are the Hawk Blues. - which I would recommend for a medium duty track pad.

Default Pretty much...

But I think you get get a better price by getting their "kit" for the fronts, and then adding the rear pads + rotors.

Just double check on their website.

I bought my parts from the local dealership since I had a 25% coupon that AoA sent me for messing up.
