Forgot to ask the tech guys at AWE yesterday. Will my new pads/rotors (mintex pads, Bittleman? rotors) be able to handle my auto-crossing attempts this spring (after a fat check and new tires)???

Zimmerman is the name.
If you got the Red Box pads, the word is they aren't very good on the track. Lot's of fade, and I think I remember reports of them cracking/crumbling under the stress. The cross drilled rotors may help keep temps down to avoid this, but I really don't know...I'm giving you hearsay.
The Mintex C-Tech pads are more appropriate for track use.

The RedBox pads should be fine for autocross. On a full track, they don't hold up. But autocross really doesn't generate much heat.
C-Tech pads would kinda suck in autocross because they need to warm up before they stop well. You won't get them warm in an autocross run. I have trouble with them on track too. They do much better than the RedBox, but still fade.
Good luck,
Rich
