Default did a search for Valvoline "Synpower power steering"

and didnt find anything. Maybe im doing it wrong...

Default pentosine chf 7.11s is the fluid to use. resevoir is on thedriverside of the enginebay right infront

of the abs unit

Default Dexron or Mobil 1 ATF will work fine in an emergency.

Read Audi Junkie's post from last Nov.

flush and fill with mobil 1 atf according to audijunkie shouldbe fine

Default I don't recommend a fill and flush unless it is comparable viscosity. There's a reason why

so many A4's had ruptured or seepage on the return line. It's because on the A4's, Audi installed twin line restrictors to keep the pressure on the rack high with the thin mineral fluid. Replacing with one of possible heavier viscosity means increasing pressure in the system and loading of the pump. Maybe to top it off, but I won't recommend as a full replacement.

Speaking of which, I can probably run regular ATF in mine since this line restrictor is one of my early mods. I've seen enough boiling pentosin at the race track, one of which I was following an A4 through a carousel when kapoof! Video caught all the smoke and me holding my wheel steady hoping not to hit or get hit by anything.
