front pads and rotors replaced at 30,000, under warranty.

i have a manual gearbox so i am not hard on the brakes at all.

Default I have a manual transmission also..
I guess it's my driving style, a couple of mods under the hood, and those autocross events.

Brake pads are a heck of a lot cheaper than replacing a transmission. I certainly don't use my tranny as brake...
