Breaking in a new A4

What's the best way to break in a new Audi? I've never owned a car with a turbo and don't know if there is a special way to break in a turbo. What I usually do with new cars is change gears at 2500-3000 and then +1000rpm/1000km. Is this a good idea?

I kept my shifts in the first hundred miles at 3500 and then under 4500 after that through 1000 miles; and didn't use full power getting up to 4500. Suburban driving is best where you get a good mix of 1-5 gears. City driving where you use 1-3 isn't very good, but worst is breaking in with highway miles only where it's in 5th most of the time.
Keep it varied. The main thing is to keep compression reasonable - you don't want to stomp on the gas regardless of RPM - even 2000RPM in 2nd gear (let alone 3rd) and stomping on the case isn't good. Keep it at 2500RPM or higher and shift between 3500 and 4500 without gunning it and you'll be fine. After 1000 miles go for it gradually from there and at 1200 miles I was doing whatever I wanted.
My car uses less than 1/4 quart of oil per 7500 miles.

Keep it under 4K for the first 1000 miles.
