Default i had Dunlop SP Sport 5000, just been replaced w/ Dunlop SP Sport A2

Both set are 225/50R16 on 16x7" stock sport wheel. SP Sport5000 were excellent & looks very aggressive, but wear out too fast, lasted about 25k miles, what do you expect from WR speed rated tires? I need something that last longer. SP Sport A2 have higher treadwear and they are pretty quiet. They handle pretty good in rain. I will find out how they are in snow this weekend.

Default Dunlop SP Sport A2 Great in snow !

We've had snow the last few weeks here in Pittsburgh and I have had no trouble with my A2's!

Even on a snow covered parking lot I was able to put the car in drive and go...no spinning or sliding.
They seem to work better than the stock tires (SP 5000's) I had on the car.

I like them so much I am thinking about putting them on my girlfriends car as well.

Default I can only vouch for the Bridgestone RE950's and I swear by 'em.

Flew through the mountains between Reno and Sacramento on I80 in a snowstorm (another A4 flew by and I just took off behind him) with no problems. Also went through some pretty slick conditions on I70 between Grand Junction, CO and Denver with great results. They are great in the wet as well, and dry gives me all the performance I need. I could use a little more grip, but who couldn't. I can't complain with the price and great all-condition results.

Default is it the tires or the Quattro ????

I have to wonder if it is the tires or the Quattro.

maybe I should put my bald SP5000's back on and see
